Microsoft has announced the launch of its latest software development certification, a new Microsoft Software Developer Certificate (MSP).
The MSP is designed for software developers with experience in the software development and testing industries.
Microsoft says the MSP can be used to prepare software developers for the Microsoft Software Development Certification (MSC) program, which will be available for developers in 2019.MSP holders can gain access to Microsoft’s Developer Development Center, a platform for providing a platform and infrastructure for software development, which is part of Microsoft’s MSC program.
“As Microsoft continues to expand its software development expertise, we’re pleased to offer a new certification that will serve our customers and accelerate the development of new software for the cloud and mobile,” said Scott Pomerantz, vice president of Windows and Surface software development.
“With the MSC certification, we are able to provide a new pathway for software companies and developers to get their skills and knowledge to market.”
Microsoft has been rolling out the MSc program for software-related jobs since late 2015, when it launched the MSE program.
Microsoft launched the Microsoft Certified Software Developer (MCE) certification in April 2017.
The MCE certification is a separate certification, which includes skills and certification for Microsoft’s certification of its own developer tools, such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
